fresno beach longtime amiga samantha lockwood is--as usual--getting rave reviews in the fashion & film world. her fleurings earrings were just featured in us weekly and genlux magazines, while palm springs life placed samantha in its "40 under 40" young stars issue. her "shoot the hero" dvd--co-starring jason mewes and our longtime amigo danny trejo--will be released october 1, weeks after danny's "machete" has hit the big screen. in this film, desert star weekly's eonn skye calls samantha a "young jennifer aniston", which makes sense to us here at the beach since we see sam as a good, old friend ... kinda like rachel green, who actually was a young jennifer aniston. continued success to ya, samantha!!

just got back from the greatest junket ever (at least in my book) thrown by columbia/sony pictures for the new adam sandler film "grown ups" and i had to ride back like paul revere (on american airlines) to proclaim "MADISON RILEY IS COMING!!! MADISON RILEY IS COMING!!!" the movie is filled with stars--some of the funniest people in the world ... and with sandler-rock-spade-james-schneider-hayek-rudolph-bello, it's no surprise that it's a very funny family flick ... but i also know this movie will really start the snowball rolling for madison riley aplanalp, who is sure to be the next big thing ... to say she steals scenes would be the understatement of the year. remember the name ... movie opens june 25.
